Coming to live in London and study at Imperial College London is a life-forming experience that cannot easily be matched.

There are so many facets to life in one of the world's greatest cosmopolitan cities that this page just gives you a summary of what is available close by.

Our main campus is in South Kensington, an area of central London long established as a cultural centre for the arts, sciences and music. It is home to three major national museums: the Science Museum, Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The Royal Geological Society is next door. Green spaces such as Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are only a few minutes' walk away, while for shoppers, Chelsea and the Kings Road, Kensington High Street and the West End are a few stops away on the bus or tube.

Our other London-based medical campuses are at Charing Cross; Chelsea and Westminster; Hammersmith; Northwick Park; Royal Brompton; and St Mary's. These are all within a short distance of South Kensington. We also have special facilities for Life Sciences at Silwood Park near Ascot in Berkshire, and the Department of Agricultural Sciences is located at the Wye campus, near Ashford in Kent.
