Welcome to the website of the project TANDEMplusIDEA!

TANDEMplusIDEA contains the conception and implementation of a modular mentoring and personal development scheme for female scientists, as well as its scientific evaluation and the development of a best practice model for an international mentoring programme.

The project aims to achieve a better balance of sexes in academic fields, in order to ensure gender equality and to take the gender dimension into scientific research. It brings together a network of high qualified postdocs from natural science and engineering, and contributes to the scientific discourse of mentoring as an element of gender-equal human resources development. An international conference will mark the final event and extend the national and international expert cooperation.

TANDEMplusIDEA is the first EU project of the IDEA League and the first international mentoring programme.
